Driving

YOU GUYS
Driving sucks!
Just kidding, I love it.
BUT I HATE IT.

AND NOW I SOUND BIPOLAR AND ANGRY. BUT THAT'S COOL.

You have to understand, I've been driving for about three months and it's not like a fifteen year old operating a giant piece of machinery just because she passed some written test is not the safest thing in the world. BUT OH MY GOSH DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IS SCARY.

But it's alright because Christmas is in two days...............

And that's the day Les Miserables comes to theatres.............

DFSJHERWHUFSDHJF HNFHERUHBQV NWFHWEKH N OHMYGOSH

I currently think that all my friends ("Wait, what friends?" the dear reader thinks, to which I reply, "The imaginary ones!") want to punch me in the face just a little. They've all heard a good deal of the songs in the last couple weeks. BUT THAT'S OKAY!

And now it's time for...

CINNAMON TOAST MUFFINS!
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/3 cup oil
3/4 cup SUGAR!
1/2 cup butter (melted)
3/4 cup SUGAR!
3 teaspoons cinnamon

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not stick your head inside and attempt to close the door. You now have lots of options. You have to chose: 1. mini muffins (which will make about 48) or 2. regular muffins (which will make a measly 9-11. Sad faced Emma.) After making this rough decision, you must also decide whether to use liners in your pan or simply grease the pan. If you go with this option, GREASE THE PAN THOROUGHLY BEFORE EVERY BATCH IS PUT INTO THE OVEN. I LIKE CAPITAL LETTERS.
2. Mix flour, baking power, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon (the 1/2 teaspoon, not the 3 teaspoons) together. Also mix the milk, egg, oil, and SUGAR! Add the two mixtures together! Do not over mix or thou shalt be eaten by thine worst enemy, the over mixing beast of Northern Emmaland. He's actually quite a nice little fellow, just a little misunderstood. And I forget to feed him. But he gets along just fine.
3. Fill whichever muffin pan(s) you choose 2/3 of the way full and bake in the oven you previously preheated (You forgot, didn't you? You thought you'd just do it later, but you didn't!) for 20-25 minutes (big muffins) or 12 minutes (little muffins)
4. When the muffins are nice and baked, remove them from the oven using a utensil that will prevent you from getting a serious burn and ruining your beautiful skin...I mean muffins. I don't know what your skin looks like.
5. Dip your muffins in the melted butter and then in the 3/4 cups of SUGAR! and the 3 teaspoons of cinnamon. Those two should have already been combined...
6. Play the waiting game while they cool. Maybe sing a little song or something. (Do you know the muffin man...)

Welp, hope you eat some. They make me happy inside.

Also, sorry for all the sentences in all caps. I get really excited. Please don't think of me as a lesser person.

Love with all my heart,
Emma

Fresh Out of Middle School
As a brand-spanking-new freshman recently thrown into the alternate universe of high school, I've got a lot to say. First of all, someone freaking tell the world that gingers have souls already. Second, yes, I am a leprechaun. Third, no one warns you for what goes on in this jungle we call schooling!

I chose the school I go to now because my brother goes there. It's pretty awesome to have a brother who's a senior because a) he can leave campus and go get me lunch at the various restaurants across the street (including frozen yogurt!) and b) I practically know half the student body already. But he also convinced me to join the cross country team that I love, but unfortunately gave me a stress fracture. So much for working harder. Although, I must say, I find my classes easy, and I'm at a super challenging school. I just have two of the world's coolest teachers on the face of the earth. But somehow, I still feel like a heaping pile of stress has just been dumped on my shoulders. Can't help but feel bad for Atlas. This will hopefully be my save-haven of sorts, apart from acting and baking. Yes, I have an obsession with both. Yes, you will hear about them. In fact, here's the first recipe I'm going to give you! I'll try to include one in every blog.

Nutella Cookies!
Ingredients:
1 cup Nutella
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
Splash of milk
Mix ingredients together in whatever fashion you wish, roll into balls, place on a cookie sheet a few centimeters apart, and press down with your palm. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 7 minutes, let cool, and stuff or face. Or just eat one. Doesn't matter to me.

But anyway, I just need an escape where everyone on the web can read my thoughts. So I guess that's it for now.

Salutations,
Emma
